Komarno, situated at the confluence of the rivers Vah and Danube at the height of 108-115 meters, is one of the oldest settlements in the Carpathian basin. It is a town with rich history. Its territory has been systematically inhabited since the Early Bronze Age.

Kisbér town was first mentioned in 1277. The town of Kisbér and the surrounding villages at the southwestern part of Komárom-Esztergom county, and the northern slope of the Bakony mountains are situated in a picturesque part of Hungary.

First mention of Hurbanovo (Ó Gyalla, Stará Ďala) is to be found in historical documents as "possessio Gyala"in 1357. The rich archeologically discoveries in its territory, however, are evidence of a significant historic value. During past centuries there were 11 nationalities, occupying it.

Tata is located in the valley between the Gerecse and Vértes Mountains. The area has been inhabited since prehistoric times; archaeological findings date back to 50,000 BCE. Later it was a Roman settlement. Tata was first mentioned in 1221.

The Town of Kolárovo (Gúta) is located in the Podunajská Lowland at the confluence of the Váh and Little Danube rivers. The village was mentioned for the first time in the year 1268 and during its existence it changed its name several times.
